Your Buddy Holly music is great! I am just getting my web-site up and it includes a history of the String-A-Longs. I would like to use your site as a link and want to know if you would like to be linked to my site. I knew Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Roy Orbison, Buddy Knox, Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs, and many, many others. So many of them are gone now. Glad you are keeping the memories alive!
Buddy Holly,the String-A-Longs, and the Fireballs all recorded out of the Norman Petty Studio.
I am doing a "40 Years After" reunion with the String-A-Longs at the Norman Petty Studio, doing a video/DVD and will record "new" tunes that were written back in the late 1950s and early 1960s but never recorded. And, we are putting together a CD of the vocals done by the String-A-Longs and the Strings-of-Fortune.
